Tanitha: The tree's & snow are not linked to the stage of beta, they were a
xmas promo, and they will be removed in the next patch.
OPEN BETA MEANS FOR YOU...
Not much really.
1. Beta continues as normal.
2. No wipes are planned. (Except the full wipe on release) (But they can wipe anytime they feel like it in beta)
3. PR (promotion of the game) will increase, promotion was limited before because the servers were limited to about 15k total. Now the servers can handle about 160k total. So lots of advertising and lots of new players will be coming.
4. No more keys needed to open a new account.
5. The rules have all changed, a few new ones there now. have a read through the new forum and game rules.
6. Server split, and new forums. (already here)
7. Gold will increase to 250 a day, instead of the usual 150 a day.
Open beta is due 27th Jan..
New stuff will continue to be added, in a progressions to release, as normal...
Clan wars beta, is probably the next big step.
Release is "due" for about end of feb, release means a full wipe, no more free gold, and a clean start for everyone.
I hope things are a bit clearer now.
