What they are doing is copying all the accounts to the new server, so both will have a nmy1010 account. Once you choose which server you want to play on the nmy1010 account on the other server will be banned. So you could choose EU for one account and US for the other account.
I don't like this I have to say, we have been told you can have an account on both servers but by banning our account on one it prevents us using the same username on both servers.
