Teamkillers are being punished...

Дата: 28.11.2010 04:41:34
Tanitha: On the two topics..
1. No players aren't perma banned for one teamkill, or one team damage.
The fact that they are still playing 2 weeks later, is pretty irrelevant. They could have been game banned for 1-3-5-7 days for their first offense.
2. Reply Email.
The "email to YOU" was tagged low priority.
The email TO YOU, was simply a email stating they had acted on your report, and "that email" was low priority. After all that email is low priority, its just a "We got your report thanks"
What they label their email TO YOU, has nothing to do with how high a priority they label the incident or the act, the report, the offense, etc..
If for example you rang 911 and reported a guy with a gun breaking in, the police would prioritize it a high life threatening incident, and act on it immediately. 3 days later when they send you a letter saying, "thanks for your report, the case is now closed" That letter to you, Is low priority. It has nothing to do with the priority of the case..
But I agree, they should just send the emails out with a normal priority, people misunderstand the priority level on the email.. and get offended.. Its not the first time I've seen it. So it could do with being changed.. I'll try to get their email system to send out normal priority emails, so players don't get offended.
Report does work, shooting back is currently against the rules. The team killing system and rules will more than likely be reviewed and improved before release.
Thread locked discussion of players bans in the forums is not appropriate and against the rules.
Topic altered to be correct..
