Saffr0n: A "no response from host" or "destination host unreachable" at
intermediary hops likely isn't the cause of your lag spikes.
You should only be worried if you get an unresponsive ping followed
up by nothing else in route to the final hop. This would mean that
your connection isn't going through. A "no response from host' or
PL on intermediary hops can be caused by the node prioritizing
specific packets or purposely dropping them as part of security
protocols, either CoPP or DDoS protection. If you're
experiencing lag spikes and unsure where it's coming from, you can
post your WinMTR or PingPlotter results in this thread.
