UPDATE: Minsk Devs Respond to Server Lag

View PostBiggensak, on May 01 2017 - 14:25, said: I'm on a solid 100/20 broadband connection wired to my desktop PC (which easily sustains 100+ FPS in the game, no mods loaded) and have been running Pingplotter traces to your NAe and NAw servers for a few days to figure out why I'm seeing constant lag spikes/server sync issues with this game and not others.  There's certainly a problem hop on both routes that seems related to your network provider of choice (TATA) or data center hosting provider (G-Core) within the same region both of your game server clusters are being hosted.   West coast, as soon as I hit if-ae-29-2.tcore2.SQN-San-Jose.as6453.net (64.86.21.104) on the way to your San Jose, CA hosting facility I start seeing 11-12% sustained packet loss and consistent additional latency the rest of the way to your game server.   East coast, as soon as I hit if-ae-14-14.thar2.NJY-Newark.as6453.net (66.198.111.8) on the way to your Ashburn, VA hosting facility I start seeing 11-13% sustained packet loss and consistent additional latency the rest of the way to your game server.   It's certainly possible you were having other server/sync issues that were fixed with whatever server side patches you rolled out in 9.17/9.18, but it seems that concurrently you've got a serious issue with the network services and/or hosting providers you are using that has nothing to do with the game servers themselves.   You can patch/fix/optimize servers all day long, but if the routes your clients take to and from these servers is fundamentally broken because the provider you've chosen is doing a lousy job it's not going to fix the problem.     You guys really need to pull out your contracts with TATA and get to work on figuring out the financial damages/contract termination options you have to enforce what should be pretty standard SLA's in a properly written network services agreement.  This sort of garbage shouldn't fly with a reputable network provider, and their failure seems to be negatively impacting your reputation and the willingness of your clients to purchase your "for-pay" elements like premium time until the issue is resolved.
