NA East server unplayable ping spikes and packet loss

The west server is usually around 105 so its better to play. I don't get it though... why Wed and Thurs nights for the last month? Another guy in my clan from New Brunswick has a similar issue but a third guy who is about 40 min drive from me has no issues at all using the same ISP. Is there an issue with the east server that effects only certain players/clients/OS systems etc?

Saffr0n:   We are currently addressing an issue occurring at this redirect hop: eqix-dc5.wargaming.com, which has been confirmed by Bell and their subsidiaries from their IP Network Operations Team as an issue that is occurring on their end in relation to reported outages. Our QA team is working with them on rerouting server traffic to avoid this bottleneck, though, it has not been communicated to us by Bell for a change to occur in the immediate future.

I did see some issues the previous night and PingPlotter showed a local TimeWarner router bogging down like a TOG going up hill.  Of course there is a Level3 edge router between me and WG's network which is usually dropping packets.   As somebody who works on data networks for a living, I am shocked that the Internet works at all with all of the chewing gum and bailing wire in the infrastructure.   PingPlotter (available for free) or another similar network tool is the only real way to see where the issue lies. A server side game like WoT will be much more sensitive to lag.

Saffr0n:   We would also like to investigate any issues occurring with ISP's, outside of Bell, that may be experiencing connection issues. Please submit a query using our ticketing system so that we may collate the information and determine any commonalities (i.e. Occurring at the same hop)
