lots of reasons. When I am able to connect the both servers not
only from the office but from my home reliable with good ping
(20-80 typically) then I cannot in good faith automatically blame
our servers. It may be an individual problem, it my be a ISP
problem, it may be a problem with one of the hops used to get to
our servers. To say you will not allow us to help you means you do
not want us to assist in addressing the issue for you, which can
lead to a perpetually bad experience. Trust me, neither party wants
this. It would not be fair to automatically tell our
Server Team that the servers are not working when I personally have
no evidence to show to them, so at the very minimum a ticket with
connection information helps us to speak on the player's behalf and
have proof of an issue.
