9.3's New Discipline System

MacAdler, on Sep 26 2014 - 06:21, said: So I was running my third battle in 9.3, I got a power outage. Went
back to the game 20 minutes later when the power came back, and I
see this warning. I understand, and trust me I'm all
in favor of getting the bots and afk's off the battles, but a
warning for a sudden D/C. I was actively playing for 2 games prior,
and then was playing for about three hours after that (hoping that
the game wouldn't crash, as is usual in the first days of a patch
release, so I wouldn't get another warning or get
banned). I think the system should stay, but it needs
to be tweaked or refined a little. What concerns me is that
we have no idea how many of these warnings before an account gets
banned, how long are the bans or if we can appeal to them.
What happens if my game crashes today, or next week, or in a
month? It seldom does, but it happens sometimes, to all of
us. How many of these warnings before you get
banned? Pigeon_of_War: The trick to that is that if I tell anyone this, I will be
revealing a way to exploit the system. Just like we don't reveal
the team-damage thresholds, we will not be revealing the thresholds
for suspensions for going AFK. Just remember, like in the team
damage system, if it was an earnest accident, log back in and don't
worry about it.
