the so called 'broken' spotting system

First thing first: devs never 'broke' the spotting system with any patch, the system's we have now is the same system as from before the warp/American tank patch. The only change since is the recent tier 9 medium tank patch where they made heavy tanks more visible. Before the warp fix long range combat was pretty much impossible and people just changed at each other in the open, so the spotting system was not as important in a fight.
Second thing: there's nothing unfair about spotting, the same spotting system works for both teams so if you don't learn how it works and get spotted when your opponent uses camo properly and stay hidden than you deserve to be shot at. Most people don't know about the three viability ray check and how you have to have both your hull and turret completely hidden behind translucent cover from the rays to be invisible. So they park their tank inside the bush instead of behind it, in which case you have no one to blame but yourself.
Lastly: you can argue that spotting system should work in some other ways such as when you fire you become visible regardless of any other conditions, but the current system is not broken in that it works consistently within its own rules. Yes tanks can show up right in your face, but even that has a good reason: spotting checks are done once every few seconds and cannot be done more often due to server load. If you understand the system then you know if you drive at break neck speed through a forest you run the risk of people showing up in your face due to the distance you cover in between spotting checks. Blaming the system doesn't work just because you don't understand it is not constructive.

Overlord: This is mostly correct. The visibility system is working currently the way it has been designated. Perhaps not the best of ways, but it is working as intended.
Regardless of the above, it is going to be reworked
