Back by popular demand, Negative Reputation.
We would like to return this feature as a tool for the community to express their sentiment about ideas, discussions and issues. It is not being reinstated as a weapon to use against people you don't appreciate. Neg rep will give the community the power to bring community sentiment to our attention.
As a matter of personal responsibility for each user and their content, we feel that negative reputation can provide positive feedback. Abuses of the reputation system such as "neg rep bombing" will be considered a violation of forum policy and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
