but what're your thoughts on winrate as a realistic measure of
player ability? :DMugsy_:
Personally, I am a pretty self indulgent player, I'm sure over time my stats will reflect that. When playing pubs solo I can be reckless, impatient, and irrational (like forsaking a tactical advantage to hunt down someone who blindsided me just for personal satisfaction). If I sense my random pub team is serious to win I will adopt their tone and play with more restraint. This is how I most enjoy the game.
But when we run tank companies as the WGA Clan I understand my role and do what is right for the team. I play to win. [Huge praise to lord_farquad for being a brilliant tactician]
So I think my winrate more accurately depicts my casual playing style. If I expected to win every match I played I don't think it would be very fun for me. But to each his own. What are your thoughts, Barfighter? ~Mugsy_
