More info on Clan system?

Well i'm mostly interested in the "Mercenary" system.
AS beeing a Merc is more my type, I don't like dedicated to much into other "big" clans or whatnot. But I do like fighting. I've always been the type who likes beeing small and mostly hang out with good comrades.
Althou I know me and my buddies make a good team, I doubt were ever able to make any "huge" clan. nor are we interested in beeing a huge clan either.
So far what I understood about the Mercenary system is that you are a Mercenary individually. fighting for other clans, helping them out for a price.
But im not the type that enjoy's soloing, I like playing with my friends. All i basicly wanted to know if its possible to create "Merc groups/clans", basicly clans with no alignements and are just a group of mercenaries.
Organising a Mercenary clan is something me and my buddies could definatly do.
Also it would be a bit easier for us to get hired and a get a job aswell, as then other clans know we are a Merc clan and can send out a application to Hire some of us if needed.
If there is no more info than what on the interview and such, well then its just not more info about it.
I just wanted to know and have someone to guide me there.
