Tier 4: T-28 against the PzIII.
PzIII has much better armor. However, the T-28 carries the 85mm which is many times more effective than the 50mm the PzIII carries.
PzIII:Faster, more like a Light tank than a Medium.
T-28:Slower, but still pretty quick, Great Gun for the Tier. Think Glass Cannon.
Would give the Edge to the T-28: It is a true medium tank, and has a greater ability to do more damage in a smaller period of time, as the armor for both "eh".
T-28 would agree but barely, both tanks have their roles for sure. THe bad side is the T-28 suffers until the 85mm overal. its really a this or that tier
Tier 5: KV-1 against the PzIV.
KV-1: First Heavy in the game, thick armor with great guns. The 107mm and the LOLWTHOMGBBQ 152mm.
PzIV: Okay speed for a medium, gets the 75mm/70 with the bobblehead turret, makes a good sniping Medium.
Edge goes to the KV-1: Both are sniper types of Tanks, but the KV has better armor and Guns, with the 152mm has the Ability to One-shot everything Tier 6 and under.
I think the Pv IV wins out here, Able to deal with multiple threats and its speed lets it pick many fights, where as the KV is slow and a giant arty magnet combined with being a heavy and easy to spot. The 152 might hit and kill a single tank but you are defenseless during the insane reload time. Also with a 15 degree a sec turret your easy flanked
Tier 6: KV-3 against the Vk3601(H).
KV-3:A true lumbering Beast, very thick armor. Still has the 107mm. Sloped armor.
Vk3601(H): Gets the 88mm, fairly fast for a Medium. Decent armor. Overall, good in all aspects.
Edge goes to the KV-3: Is more durable, bounces shots like no one's business. Also the 107mm outperforms the 88mm the VK3601(H). In short, KV-3 wins in Damage/Durability.
Another tier that is kinda of a push, THe 3601 has speed and agility in its favor with soem armor and plenty of hitting power, where the KV-3 is an armored slow turtle, suffers from heavy spotting and not the best agility, but the 3601 is well rounded, pretty much a push for me love both tanks and neither has to much of a edge on the other usally
Tier 7 Tiger against IS (it's the IS-2)
Tiger:Gets....the 88mm/71. It's slower, same armor as Vk3601(H), but gets double the HP. Modules break from Coffee spills.
IS: It's faster than the KV-3, gets the 122mm and has 120mm sloped front armor.
Edge: IS, doesn't break as often, it has better armor the gun hits harder and can deal with faster targets better than Tiger. All around, IS beats Tiger.
Recently went back into a Tiger I after the patch, I have no issues with it. IS's go down easy to it and its speed agility and firepower make it a very well rounded tank. The IS most run the smaller guns due to accuracy issues, where as the tiger can move and engage accurately with a good gun, IS is a bit faster but lacking the firepower and accuracy combo the tiger has going for it. Overall another tier that now seems to be a equal push to me.
And...Well, I can leave it to someone else to finish. Else I'll track the last three tiers later.
