The KV-3 goes 8kmph slower than the Vk3601(H), however the only time the Vk3601(H) is in a close-range fight, given -any- sort of distance KV-3 Wins. Period, the Kv-3 isn't much slower than the Vk3601 is for that matter, and given how....random the 88mm/56 is, the KV-3 has a more reliable gun. Hands to the KV-3, It's faster than -all- German Heavies, that's right.
Now then, let's disprove this "notion" that the IS-4 is slow, and that the Vk4501 Ausf B is better, in fact. I will even disprove the idea that the German Heavy line has any real armor advantage.
First, Stat wise. max speeds
IS: 35
IS-3: 36
IS-4: 35
IS-7: 50
Tiger: 30
King Tiger: 28
VK4502 Ausf: 30? (would like to double check this)
Maus: 20
MrVic: Top speed and acceleration are very different beasts and most RU
tanks have a higher top end speed with a much lower acceleration.
Its hard sometimes to get them up to the higher speeds since it
takes such a long distance to reach it
One thing they need to adjust is the IS-7's description, it does not do 50kph on flat ground. Down a hill for a very short period it can hit that speed. once it levels out a tiny bit you lose that speed totally. I rarely break 40kph on hills. Rough ground it does 18-20 kph good ground 25-33 roads 30-40 (but takes about half the map to get up to that speed)
The 3601 vs KV-3 the 3601 is considerably faster and with more acceleration. Well played it can decimate a KV-3
The IS-3 is a hair faster then then tiger 1 fully upgraded. The tigers track traverse is much faster, The tiger II is faster track traverse and turret with better acceleration, overall IS-3 is a faster tank then tiger 2 in the long haul.
IS-4 can hit maybe 35 but takes a good ground run for about half to 3/4 map distance usually it crawls around I think 25kph, it track traverse speed is much lower then a 4502
