I am really annoyed by the hits system in this game... I've stayed on Malinovka on respawn and suddenly a few shots came on me. As you can see on the attached screenshot, there are three scratches. They were only scratches on tank, no more shots hit me but even though I got destroyed track.
How is that possible? And this was just obvious, but it happens very often. No system in hitpoints and damages of various systems of tank. This really needs to be re-done.
Its not only my opinion, its something on which all people in group, which I play with, can agree.
Is there any scheme, where I could see exactly how is it done now? I wouldnt be surprised if it would be onle "front", "side" and "back" each for hull and turret and the damage would be delt random. I would also like to see some official material on how the damage is done, if by random or if there is some connection to the thickness of armor, which was penetrated, etc...
Is there something like that?
My last question for now would be why I cant even pay for repairs of my IS3 if I damage VK3601 and Tiger II, but dont kill anyone? Is there a bug or what? Its not about some change, its about thousands, times to times even ten to twelve thousands of lost credits in battle (using 100mm canon).
MrVic: Track hits are shown by thrown track or if its just damage they do
not alter in appearance. The scratches are non penetrating hits and
no hit points lost.
Also since tracks can be destroyed with lower caliber weapons that may not be able to harm your armored hull there is no hitpoint loss just mobility loss. The track hits were not those that hit you and scratched the hull
