Official Heavy Tank Discussion

MrVic: Its late I am exhausted but 2 things I wanted to put out there.
1) HE rounds I think are massively overpowered vs heavy armored targets. AP should be the ammo for use on heavies not HE spam. I again witnessed HE rounds taking massive doing massive damage to me per shot 53 armor pen vs 120/130mm armor is insane to do 100%/80% damage AND causing a large number of Modules to become damaged.
Currently a 7.5cm L72 does no where near the damage a Hetzer does with a 10.5cm HE round lol I again witnessed numerous deaths to 3-4 shots from a HE rounds from small tanks and low armor pen (non SPG)
2) I am not saying anyone here does this, but I see way way to many tigers committing tactical suicide in a game. Sitting in the open plain as day attracting all the enemy fire of a whole team. SPG's opening up since they are not seeking cover. The biggest thing is I kill one in a KV-3 (I fair about 50/50 odds head on with a tiger armed with a long 8.8cm gun. This is mainly due to the tiger player not understanding his advantages over my KV-3 and in the end he plays to my strengths which is fine with me. Even with these horrid tactical choices its still a 50/50 duel usually. I will not tell people how to go about killing other types of tanks but I will give you a hint. Speed/Traverse/RoF

players complain in a match the Tiger is horrid. In that match I
watched a KV-3 with 100m and VK3601 with a 8.8cm 2 panzer IV's with
long 7.5cms 1 hetzer with a 10.5cm a Stug with a 7.5 L72 and last
but not least a Grille bomb him into dust over about 45secs. He was
alone and everything above was shooting solely at him parked in the
open. He then proceeded to state badly how bad his tank was......
The tank was fine in fact I thought he owe his tank an apology for
putting it through something that he should of known was a bad
idea. (he knew we all were in that valley prior to moving to attack
us) Tho he still managed to take 75% of my life kill a Panzer IV
and take the 3601 down to 14% life against all that firepower.
Side note on the comment that KV-1s get the 107mm all I have to say is a Bison can circle kite a KV-2 with the 107mm, at 100% crew its traverse speed is 15 degrees a second. Know your strengths and know your enemies and fight accordingly this will help immensely
