and why not have WG turn off your ingame PM this would solve the problem with out getting rid of platoons stuff
(or make it so ppl and only PM you if they are in your friends list!)

Major_Rampage: I could turn on the no PMs / platoon invites unless you are on my
friends list but I PMs from all sorts of people all day every
day, and do my best to answer all of them. So
I would be afraid I would forget to uncheck it after the event.
