Lert: Received a package in the mail today, hooray!
Inside the box:
No
surprises there. This is my sixth Heng Long R/C tank so far, they
all come in very similar delivery. The tank and its bits
unpacked:
All the tank bits and tools
attached, the optional 'Just put it anywhere' stowage on the ground
in front.
The optional stowage bits
consist of: - Two non-descript brown crates
- Two .30 cal ammo cans
- Two .50 cal ammo cans
- Three backpacks
- Two smaller, rectangular personal packs
- One oil can
- One jerry can
- One helmet
- Two spare VVSS road wheels
- A piece of non-functional, decorative four-link spare track My plans for this tank are to make it into Oddball's Sherman from Kelly's Heroes:
For this I'll need to re-barrel
and re-mantlet it with aftermarket parts, so that's going to take a
while. I'll also need to re-paint, scratch build some additional
stowage and try to get my hands on a commander figure I can modify
and paint to look like Oddball, the figure that came with the tank
isn't quite suited for that. The tank is fully R/C, 1/16th
scale, 15" hull length, proportional speed control on the tracks
and turret rotation, comes with sound, shoots airsoft BBs. It cost
me 160 euro packaged sent and delivered to the Netherlands from
Germany.
