Help me get better

Lert:   No. I'm not kidding. You vastly underestimate how stupid the playerbase in general is, and how good you are in comparison. It's like a reverse dunning-kruger. Stupid people don't realize how stupid they are, and players like you who think they are 'barely above average' are far better than that.   Look it up. Look up your ratio of damage done to own hitpoints and compare it to serverwide averages. Doing your own hitpoints in damage already puts you in the top 15% of players. That's how bad the playerbase is. You can think you're 'only slightly above average', but the fact remains that you're in the top 10% of players worldwide easily.   Think about it this way: If the top 7 or 8 players on a single team do 1.5x their own hitpoints, the enemy team would be dead and there would be no hitpoints left for the rest of the winning team to farm. So how could 1.5x your hitpoints be 'average'?
