Lert:   The moment you are smart and skilled enough to recognize that situation for what it is, you don't need that advice anyways.   I'll counter your point with this:   Go play a match. Go on, I'll wait. Look around you. How many people in your match are just worthless campers 'defending' a position that is tactically unimportant, not under threat and far away from the actual battle? The situation you described is not nearly as common as situations where your teammates are being part of the scenery. Immobile, passive and useless.
