PSA: watch your fire, know what your gun can and can't do

Lert: Highway. I'm in my Fury.
I
just killed a Churchill 1 on the 0 line. Up ahead in a side street
is an enemy M6 bullying our KV-1. I have a friendly KV-2 behind me.
So I W forward hard to help the unfortunate KV-1, knowing myself
supported by the KV-2. The KV-1 is pushing forward, the M6 is
reversing towards the 0-line, its side towards me.
My shot bounces. The M6 continues to back up. Not interested
in getting in front of its gun and having to shoot at its thickest
armor, I veer right to get behind the M6, and -
Boom. Wait, what? What happen? Did somebody set up me the
bomb?
Me dead, our KV-2 has a -1 and the M6
finishes off the KV-1. Please, for the love of god, learn
what your gun is capable of doing and mind what is near your line
of fire when you press that trigger. I know the KV-2's shot
would've been in the air for a second before hitting me, but taking
a derp shot at an enemy engaged in a brawl with two friendlies at
knife-fighting range is just .... stupid. Because of that
one careless shot, a sure-win 3v1 brawl turned into a much more
risky 1v1 situation. Calling someone an idiot for 'running
in to my shot' isn't going to make your case any better if you try
to needle a long range derp shot past a friendly's face, either.
Mind your fire.
