Lert:   Things like terrain resistance, bloom, ROF, acc, view range, camouflage value, hitpoints etc etc are all soft stats that can be used for balancing purposes. The only things 'set in stone because historical' are the top speed, engine horsepower, weight, gun pen, ammo capacity and armor values - and WG has shown often how much they care about 'historical accuracy' with those.
