Lert: How long before your stats increase significantly? That's entirely up to you. Your skill level, your rate-of-learning, your skill ceiling, how much time and effort you are willing to invest, etc. We can't say anything meaningful about that, apart from 'several thousand matches' - which could mean 2000 or 10000.
