Laera: Greetings Tankers! I'm thrilled to welcome two new Community
Coordinators to the team! Introducing RibbleRabble and HBFT!
They'll be helping out in the forums so be sure to give them a warm
welcome. While they are new to the Community Team, they have both
been with Wargaming America for some time. Without further
ado, I'll allow them to introduce themselves: RibbleRabble -
Community Coordinator Greetings Wargamers! I’m
RibbleRabble and I recently joined the community coordinator team
in North America. I am excited to be a part of the community team
and I look forward to supporting our community in any way
possible! Feel free to add me, message me, invite me to a
platoon/flight, etc. How long have you been with Wargaming?
About 9 months. What's your favorite tank? I really like the
IS-6 and can’t wait to get the IS-7. I haven’t really found my play
style so I am open to suggestions and tips! What is your
favorite Wargaming memory? The recent trip to the Military Vehicle
Technology Foundation was awesome! Also, the WGLNA Gold League
Season 3 Finals in San Francisco was great. Seeing the pro teams go
at it was epic. Hometown? I was born in San Francisco and
grew up in the Bay Area, but I consider Sacramento my hometown.
What is your favorite book? “Magic the Gathering: Arena” is
one of my favorite books. If you could be any animal what
would it be and why? Dragon! That doesn't count?! Alright,
fine! I would be a hawk or some type of bird of prey. Mainly
for their ability to fly and keen vision when
hunting, although, if I could I would be a dragon because
who wouldn't want to be a dragon? If you
could have any super power what would it be and why? I would have
to say telekinesis. I could easily keep my powers a secret
and use my powers in a sport like baseball or golf. Also, I would
be the best magician in the world. “RibbleRabble, Professional
Baseball Player and Magician” What were some of your
favorite video games as a child? That is a tough one… As a child I
played a lot of Bomberman. Although, I would say my all-time
favorites would have to be Monster Rancher, Brigandine, and Final
Fantasy 7. What are some of your favorite movies? Inception,
Nacho Libre, and Anchorman HBFT - Community
Coordinator Hello everyone! I am HBFT [or Happy Bunny
Fluffy Toes] and I am a Community Coordinator for Wargaming North
America. You will see me in the forums and in-game where I
will do my best to improve the overall experience for all of our
players. I am really excited to get to know everybody and I
hope that we can work together to make our community a great place
to be! How long have you been with Wargaming? I've been with
Wargaming since August of 2013; so a little over 8 months.
What's your favorite tank? The more I play World of Tanks, the more
I started to move towards playing medium vehicles. I really
enjoy the T-54 (U.S.S.R.) for its overall mobility and awesome
turret. On the opposite end of things, the T69 (U.S.A.) has
really grown on me for its burst damage. What is your
favorite Wargaming memory? My favorite memory at Wargaming came
from the time when a player was patiently awaiting a response on
one of their support tickets and they sent an “anti-joke” list to
me to help me to relax while getting them the information that they
needed. I laughed for probably the next few days and still
remember a number of those jokes to this day! Hometown? I
grew up and currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
What is your favorite book? I love quite a number of books, but I
really enjoyed the Eisenhorn Trilogy by Dan Abnett. (I also
religiously read hint books/strategy guides at the local
Waldenbooks when they were still around) If you could be any
animal what would it be and why? I would want to be a little
Emperor Penguin. Emperor Penguins seem like such beautiful
creatures, and as a young child my favorite stuffed animal was a
little Emperor Penguin. If you could have any super power
what would it be and why? I would want the ability to momentarily
freeze everything around me. There are many times when I wish
I could just slow down and realize that I am a smaller part in a
greater world and there are few things that can center you like
silence. What were some of your favorite video games as a
child? I absolutely adored the Wing Commander series by
Origin. I loved the level of interaction between your AI
wingman and your character. Also…that game had “talkies” in
it with the brand new Soundblaster (8-bit sound!!!). I really
enjoyed Baldur’s Gate II, EA’s Navy SEALs, Counter-Strike, Final
Fantasy VI, and an abundance of Sierra adventure titles.
What are some of your favorite movies? I love Gettysburg with
Martin Sheen, The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise, The Rock with Sean
Connery, The Negotiator with Samuel Jackson, and The Untouchables
with Robert De Niro. (Those are just a few movies off the top
of my head)
