collection of responses to some of our most frequently asked
questions on these procedures:
What is a Forum Warning?
Warnings are issued for educational purposes. They are most often issues for a first-time offense or minor violation of our Forum Rules and Community Guidelines. Warnings are worth 0 points and do not count towards your point total.
What are Warning Points?
Warning Points are given when players are found violating our Forum Rules and Community Guidelines, or who have repeated a violation of a warning (see above).
What is an R.O.?
A Read Only (R.O.) is when you will not be able to post on the forums but will still be able to read content. Those in R.O. have violated our Forum rules.
Do Warnings and Points expire?
Yes. Most warnings and points will expire between 60 and 180 days, however the record of the offense will remain. Serious infractions and points acquired from them will not expire. You can always view your warnings on your profile page. Only you and the moderation team can see your list of warnings.
What constitutes a permanent forum ban?
With this new system in place, when an account reaches 10 points it will be up for review for a permanent removal from our forums. Keep in mind that most points expire after 60 to 90 days. If you are worried you are on track to 10 points, please take some time to review our Community Guidelines or PM a Community Team member.
