Dog Tags. You reading this, WG? Stupidest,
Dumbest, WORST idea you have had. I don't complain
about a lot in this game. Things like Dog Tags are literally
a waste of programming time/resources for absolutely NO GAIN
whatsoever from the WG perspective or the players'
perspective. Resources that could be better spent NOT
removing Affirmative/Negative or making those soapy rocks and
indestructible fence rails work like we'd expect them to, maybe.
We know the game isn't 'realistic' in that things look and
act exactly like a real world counterpart. That said, it's
hard to maintain a sense of engagement when a wooden fence rail can
tip over a 40 ton tank and that some rocks actually 'pull' you into
the traps once you touch it. I'd like to see some more
resources devoted to THAT and if Dog Tags have to go bye bye for
that, I wouldn't be upset even a tiny bit. OvO
KRZYBooP: Dogtags were featured and many players showed interest in
keeping them around last year. So they were implemented. Not much
coding goes into it since it uses what is already there.
Affirmative and Negative was brought back, Soapy rocks and Game physics is a Game engine issue that is not able to be immediately seen or easy to fix. The Dev team is working to address those issues, along with many others, and providing new content for some players to enjoy.
