WG's idea of math is garbage.

First they told us that they had a "zero tolerance" to cheating ..... wrong .... they give the player a warning first - that is NOT a zero tolerance. Zero tolerance in any other language means that if someone cheats (with zero tolerance rules) means that if a player is caught he is immediately banned. The second example of WG's twisted math is that they claim you will get 15% credit bonus for fighting in a platoon. WRONG. They only give 10% credit bonus. It seems that WG will almost go to any level to squeeze money out of the players. Change the equipment on lower tier tanks ....... and charge money for any "new" type of equipment that is available. When they ignore players that raise objections to the game changes they ignored them or try to smooth it over by handing out a pile of low tier tanks under the title "Tenth Anniversary" rewards. Most of them are garbage and (of course) you have to spend money on them to put equipment and consumables (if not crew training as well). They raise the cost of premium ammo, create new premium tanks (even if they don't have tracks), create a new line of double barreled tanks (which never existed), and lie about the platoon bonus.  New players beware ..... WG will use any tactic to sell you premium tanks, premium time, and premium currency (gold) and they will stoop to any level to bleed you of as much money as they can. Like I've said numerous times ..... "Welcome to War Gaming ..... and leave your wallet at the door." Player Support will tell you that they don't force anyone to buy anything, but they continue to ram that crap called "Combat Intelligence" down your throat at every opportunity to sell something and with what seems like almost at the end of every battle. No, they don't force you ..... but they do everything to make the game difficult enough that without spending money on something (be it premium time, tanks, or gold) you won't progress very far up the tech trees ... or in battles. (I won't be the surprised if this post gets removed by WG ........ only because it's the damned truth and they won't like it.)   WG has proven on numerous occasions that "caveat emptor"  (let the buyer beware) applies here more than ever. They (WG) are out for themselves and don't care what the players may think or want. They have proven that time and time again over the years.   Good luck (new) tankers ....... you're going to need it (as well as a deep wallet).   PapaBear_3110

KRZYBooP:  Here are some details about the math you question.

"If you have a couple of friends you want to play with, Platoons are exactly what you’re looking for. Aside from the fun of playing in a team, all platoon members earn 10% more XP and credits - or 15% for the members who own a World of Tanks Premium Account -  per battle. A platoon consists of either two or three players and can be created by any player. Platoons are available for Standard Battles, Encounters, Assault, Grand Battles, and the Frontline mode."Source. WG hits them with more than a warning for cheating. Unless you have been hit for cheating you probably won't know 100%. Fairplay bans are a thing, and the number is real.  Equipment:
"All Tier I–III equipment will be demounted for free and automatically moved to the Depot. The only exception is Enhanced Suspension for Tier II–III tanks. "Most equipment that was removed was replaced with a better version for players to equip. Improved Hardening, Turbo, and Grousers are a few examples.
You didn't have to unequip and re-equip some equipment since all you had to do was drag or right-click and select the proper slot if you wanted the extra boost.
Source. Many player objections are the same as Community objections. Most objections are handled by WG with Data. It takes a lot more than some negative feedback on one or two forum threads. In addition, to almost every complaint the dev team is working on it. You may see these as Ignored, but it's difficult to give updates on the implementation of 100 different ideas that are found to be bad ideas for the game/ not able to implement. One thing you can be certain of is that WG is never done changing the game.  There were 7 low tier Premium tanks that all players were given, with the chance to unlock the 8th one. The last two are the free premium tanks both new, and any repeat tanks were compensated with credits and anniversary tokens to help unlock the 8th. Source. Double Barrelled tanks are in history as being developed/ tested but never created. What a fun age we live in where a video game can put these "what if" tanks up against the ones that really existed, as well as having nations that never fought against each other see how each nation's tanks stack up. Please remember that this is a game inspired by history and is an arcade shooter, not a simulation.
Source.
I couldn't find any specific data that shows WG increased the prices of all ammo/ premium ammo. I do know that some tanks' ability to earn credits have been changed over the years. In addition, The credit value for all ammo types goes up considerably depending on what tier you play. Tier 10 is not meant/ nor was it ever meant to be profitable. This is done to keep players filtering down into lower more "profitable" tiers so everyone isn't staying in tier 10. Yes, some of it is money-driven since players download a AAA title game for free, with no additional ads or 100% guaranteed wins that can only be purchased with money. This is also why premium time is something for players to buy to help with playing the game. Free to play games always have in-game buying options to allow players to dedicate as little or as much as they want.  You don't wanna spend 60 on a tank, well here are some offers for players to purchase any amount of premium time to help out with playing the game and unlocking tanks.

Not to mention all the free events that give out boosters, consumables, equipment, and sometimes even tanks. The skill level for events varies from easy dailies to our Marathons. If you don't play a lot of tanks then you can grind for a day to get a discount on the premium tank. Then there are the contests and events from the community team that gives away codes and more free stuff for the players that would like to follow and engage with us.  Many issues with "Buyer Beware" are compensated, taken care of, or put in bold for players to see before they commit. I have seen the support tickets and done some fixing myself. Not everything is possible, but support does it's best.

Nope, Moderators don't take down Feedback posts from players as long as they aren't filled with death threats, hate speech or has too many expletives.

Hopefully, the above is taken as me trying to assist and clarify. Not trying to upset anyone, and if you have any additional information I am not aware of feel free to share it. I did the best I could with what I know and google, but I haven't been on here as long as others.
