time now and then but its not my be all and end all game . i dont
have a fancy gaming computer or the deluxe mouse , i dont care so
much about getting all the tanks , but i DO kinda like to get some
of the fancy camo patterns . i am just a casual player , thats all
i will ever probably be ........................... but i
gotta say , the game has gotten to be less fun as of late .
it seems as though WG's is trying to push newer players to tier 6
or above . i have seen too many games at tier 7+ with players
playing like noobs ................. after the game when i look
them up , turns out they have 2000 games or less and must have just
walleted their way up . this is a team game , having a player with
less than 2000 games decide to ram his premium scout wheelie (also
our ONLY scout on the team) into an enemy heavy 10 seconds into the
game is a waste of time for every one .....................
i accept that they want to create higher prices to reflect the
advantages and expenses at different ranks for the gear , but FFS
its turned out to be more of a money grab than anything else as
players are now having to spend MILLIONS of credits to equip their
tanks with the appropriate gear , so now players are left
with either leave tanks under equipped or spend REAL money to buy
gold and credits to fix the mess . it seems like WG's enjoys
taking maps no one likes , and making them even LESS enjoyable to
play on like pearl river .................... i mean its not like
we seriously expect MM to ever be fixxed , but we can all count on
them picking the worst maps to bring back and making them worse
than they already were . not a fan of the new map and com
system . the "attention" triangle is too small and dim and gets
lost if there are too many tanks near it , the old blinking box was
better . no one is really paying attention to the "going to"
notifications , so they are kind pointless . the BIRTHDAY
tank competition ............. so we get a FREE give away tank that
is absolute garbage , the worst freebie i have ever seen
................. that we HAVE to use to try and get a tank we are
told is worth the effort ................. it looks to me like it
was just a money grab . they "gave" us a tank that we would HAVE to
use that left players with only 2 choices :1) use HE shells and
play endless games where you make top 7 , but dont kill or do 300
in damage .............. or use gold rounds and LOSE up to 50,000
credits per match in ammo costs . they couldnt even make it
preferred placement so that it would always be top tier ? now if
you HAVENT been here all these years , you could get ALL the tanks
you needed to play in the event anyway .............. if you HAVE
been here and had the other tanks already , well too bad , you dont
really get a bonus for the time and money you have spent over the
years ............i will admit it , i tried to make it , but i dont
have tons of spare time , i had to leave last night to go to work
and missed the prize by only 6 wins ............ i have
already bought enough of the camo from the special event . i figure
i am going to take a break from the game for a month or 2 . i know
i wont be missed , but i also know i am not the only one with these
gripes , i have heard them in game for a while now . the fortunate
thing about being a casual player is that i am not so heavily
invested in the game that i cant step back and take a break from it
. see you guys in a month or so , flame away if you want , but i
wont be lurking , so i wont see or care what is said
............... later gators !

I play for pure and unadulterated enjoyment of the gameplay. Although I usually try to win, I frankly don't care if I win or lose, and while I have stats... I don't even care all that much about those. I play, leave the game, come back years later, play again. Low tier, high tier... doesn't even matter. I simply play whatever I feel like playing at the moment. And if I am trying to figure something out... my gameplay might annoy people. Sadly, the player base is horribly toxic. It was so 7 years ago, and it is still now. So, when I have to... I create a new account and play anonymously to avoid harassment by the tryhards. Of course that might not even be good enough... because you end up encountering those same tryhards (even at low tiers) yelling at you because you are not playing "their way", or calling you names. "Reroll" seems to be the most common, because you might be playing too well *against bots* and they assume that you are doing it for the stats like they are. I so wish this game had solo PvE and COOP modes, then we would be able to play without some kid trying to harass you.
KRZYBooP: There are some fair points that you bring up, but I would
also like to point out some helpful information to assist casual
players. I would like to ask for your insights on why MM
is broken? If you're upset about no Skill based MM and being put on
poopy teams, the same thing is happening to the opponent team. Even
a tomato like me can have an amazing game and defy the XVM
system. For example: In a game that is ten years old, the
game isn't low-tier focused anymore. The game has shifted so
newer players can get up the tech tree to play in tiers 6-10.
Skirmishes, Advances, and Clan wars play are some end game content
that many players shoot for as a goal. Other MMO's do this to help
with older players getting their friends in the game and up to
speed quicker than if they signed up when the game first
started. New players don't learn very much in lower-tier
games sadly. Tiers 1-5 don't give you much room to learn before
getting sent back to the garage, for picking a bad place to be on a
map you have never seen. Figuring out what view range is, why you
are being shot by all directions before finding cover, getting your
tracks blown off, and trying to fix them so you can move to said
cover, or getting stunned by Arty. At least in tiers 6-8 you can
buy some Premium tanks, last a little longer and figure out your
mistakes before queueing up for another battle. Sorry to
hear about your not being able to win your way to the A46. You can
still use your anniversary coins (if you saved enough) to
unlock the A46 and you have until 12Oct to complete this. I haven't
been very active in playing or earning coins but by completing
stage 1 of Steel Hunter I currently have 950. If I participate in
another week I am sure I can get 1500 to afford the A46 before the
anniversary is over. The bonus tanks also had anniversary coins as
compensation if you owned any of the low tier tanks.

KRZYBooP: Some players have been using the anonymous feature to avoid
being harassed so you don't have to create a reroll account. You
can also report a player with a screenshot to support if they are
harassing you for WG support to investigate.
