I dare you to start a new account as a f2p without boosters, gold, anything. Get to tier 10 without premium time. After a year of grinding go compete with the gold spam at tier 10 in your f2p tank and see how that goes for you. You cant play at tier 10 without at least premium time or a premium vehicle. It is paytowin when all you have to do is press 2 and shoot overpriced skill ammo.   Lets see here, 1-you can pay for boosters 2-you can pay for overpowered tanks 3-you can pay for premium time that lets you have a full gold ammo loadout that makes you more skilled.   Yep not pay to win mate.   Wargaming gives some premium tanks but they are all horrible and obsolete. At best a full f2p player will stay at tier 1-6 because thats the only thing they can afford. Listen im not complaining but when someone says this game is not pay to win i just think its wrong.

KRZYBooP:  With completing boot camp and using any invite code that can be found on the forum by asking you can unlock a tier 6 tech tree tank and a tier 8 premium for free. Grinding to tier 10 is not that impossible if you stick to one line. Now with the changes to bonds you don't have to run gold rounds, consumables, and what not to get a steady stream of bonds. You get 5 every tier 10 match you don't AFK.

Players feel they need to run special ammunition + consumables to be competitive - in which case they will usually lose credits. You are going to have to play a lot of games - losing credits in most of them - to earn sufficient bonds to buy advanced equipment (even just one item). So how do you earn credits? Play lower tier premium tanks and have a premium account or convert gold (real cash) to credits. So, in fact, you are spending money to get advanced equipment through bonds. P2W confirmed. GG   Coming next in an update near you: additional equipment slots for gold/credits (cos credits is not p2w)

KRZYBooP:  You can also not spend money, and get the same stuff. P2W is usually associated with ONLY being able to get an in-game advantage from buying something.
