I'm still a noob in many ways. One of those ways is overall
management of my account. Through
my first year of wot I ran mostly premium time just to build up a
good garage inventory, and I'd say that part has been a success. I
have many different lines that reach teir 10, although I dont have
all the 10s purchased. However I realize now that I managed this
time of premium rather poorly! I sold alot of tanks just to get
quick credits and now I regret alot of those sales. I guess I
realize that I've screwed up and am asking for your advise on how
to properly manage my account. What are certain do's and
don'ts? Currently I dont
have premium time, and wont have for the majority of my playing
time, but I do have 2 teir 8 premiums, and many low teir premiums
as well. Given my current resources, any advise on how to make
the most out of them would be well recieved!
KRZYBooP: Aim for the free stuff that allows you to unlock tanks for
free and focus on that. Tank University, Tank Medal, and Tank
Rewards all offer rewards while playing in the form of personal
reserves, equipment, and consumables to help keep you in the game.
Most of them are also in the tier 4-7 range. Tank Rewards offers
free tier 8 premium tanks for you so you don't have to purchase
them. Remember while you don't have premium time, premium tanks do
still give a bonus to credits and crew XP. If I am top
tier in a game I usually don't shoot premium ammo to conserve
credit loss, unless I am brawling an enemy tank and the entire
front of the tank is showing up yellow. Tier 10 is
endgame stuff and is not as profitable as tiers 7 and 8. Until you
have decent savings don't run into tier 10 battles one after
another. They are expensive by design to keep players filtering
down to lower tiers so not everyone is battling at tier
10. Don't forget that you can put crew members from the
same nation and tank class into a premium tank for training and
don't have to retrain them to drive the premium tank. This allows
you to level up a crew and go back to their trained tank more
badass than before without spending gold or credits.
