KRZYBooP:  Lower tiers weren't very forgiving to newer players. It's difficult to learn a game when you can be one-shot back to the garage not understanding that you were snipped by a HE shell fired by a TD that didn't get spotted due to double bush mechanics. Tiers 6-8 allow for you to react and hide behind a building/rubble/bank before arty finishes you off. Then at least you learn two lessons.  With the addition of more HP at the lower tiers, some players on the forums reported a longer better fight. To the point of the additional ammo that was given to tanks isn't enough.

KRZYBooP:  This is double true for a strictly PVP MMO. World of Tanks has made tier 10 not as profitable to keep players going back down in tiers which are more profitable. Otherwise, the entire population would only play tier 10 tanks.  WOTFB
