Special Delivery: When Tetrarchs Fly.

KRZYBooP: Howdy Boom Jockies!  As you can see I wasn't kidding.  The Tetrarch was a private project designed to replace the Light Mark VI. Some of the requests for the tank resulted in different ways of getting troops to the battlefield. Gliding in was one way to offer more firepower to ground troops upon invasion.  For the amphibious assaults.   These two British examples of the Tetrarch were conceived due to how light the tank was. The British gave 20 tanks to the U.S.S.R as part of the lend lease program to help out with Operation Barbarossa.
