However I'm not that aware of all the differences between the two platforms and would like a couple questions answered. 1.Any Difference with crew training? 2.Any Core Mechanic differences? 3.Any Gamepad support? If there's anything else you all think I should be aware of I would love to hear it thanks.
Jambijon: Hey libarykeeper483! Welcome to PC! Thanks for sticking with us. Yes, there is quite a lot of differences between Console and PC. 1. Crew training is more complicated in PC but its easy to understand once you get familiar. So in console, you essentially have 1 crew member and you have a bunch of different choices when it comes to skills/perks. However with PC, there are different "Classes" of crew members. Each crew member is categorized by there specification - Commander, Driver, Gunner, Loader, and Radio Operator. There are skills which can be researched for any crew and then there are Perks which is class specific. That's a very general breakdown, but you can check out some articles to help you out: https://worldoftanks...ent/guide/crew/ https://worldoftanks...qualifications/ 2. It would take me far to long to write out the different changes with mechanics so i'll go over some basic, but important ones. Sorry if I missed any, but hopefully the community can help out until I can get a more detailed explanation for you. There is friendly fire! The physics is a little more in depth, tanks can flip over or on there side Consumables like the medkit, and repair kit will go on cooldown 90 sec rather than be "used" 3. Unfortunately, there isn't any officially supported game pads, but there maybe a way to use third party software to map the controls. Thats something you would have to look for on your own. As a personal opinion, I rec commend giving the ole keyboard and mouse a try. I used to only play console until I was able to afford a decent build so I understand the change can be uncomfortable for a while. I would say I'm more accurate with a mouse but I do like the pressure sensitivities controllers offer. I hope this helps out and again, welcome! Have fun out there!
