is it justifiable to claim that one thing is broken but deny that
others are? It is important, Jaguarz, because
people justify the endless griefing and nerfing of SPGs based
on its "brokenness." I don't mean on the forums. In the
game. I wouldn't care (and didn't) when it was just people
ranting on the forums, players hampering the SPGs on their own
teams, and opponents following me into my garage with their
comments. But that toxicity has boiled over to influence the
game developers, to make the game less enjoyable for a minority of
players to satisfy griefers who don't want to play SPGs and thus
don't care about those that do. So yes, I challenge
what was previously just bad rhetoric, because it is now bad
rhetoric that is used to curtail the gameplay of others. It
is a rationale that stems from poor sportsmanship and lack of
ability to empathize.
Jaguarz: It wasnt a reference to you, rather you seem to ran against
the arguments of people who have took the bait when it was dangled
earlier, your posts have by and large been well thought out and
concise, however there have been others which to paraprhase are
basically. "fuh fuh, cant be broken, working as intended, fuh
fuh, prove that its broken, you cant, they cant be
broken!!!!" Which is a classic strawman action of moving the
debate onto something asinine which is basically semantics and
personal definitions.
