effectively seeing this as Wargaming, or should I say Victor Kislyi
and the WG head office, retaliating against its players
for not giving the response they wanted. Victor Kislyi
(immediately following the Rubicon fallout)
said to news website Polygon that he would
give independence to each branch of the company to "find their
own path to success"; this would have been a very good move as it
would ensure that real-life demand in varying regions are best
reflected. I thought my account was successfully terminated,
but this turns out not to be the case, likely because I forgot to
remove any remaining integrations that prevented this from
happening; but I'll take the opportunity to say that I will never
even consider reinstall Wargaming's games again unless: The forum
strike on my account for citing that
perfectly-relevant Polygon article during the Crew 2.0 first
iteration is removed, and the (unknown) moderator responsible
directly apologises to me for acting in clear bad faith Victor
Kislyi honours his own words and gives the independence that each
version of the game needs Moderators stop interfering with the
natural feedback process (feedback is only valid when it is raw
and untampered) Completely drop Crew 2.0, as there is no proof
that a sizeable number of customers have ever
complained about the currently-used system I've been working
in the community sector since Summer 2010 and I know exactly what I
am talking about; I hope the moderators here show serious
consideration and attention during this very sensitive time period,
as I believe their interference in how we can express ourselves is
making the situation precipitously worse; does company
policies mean more, to yous and Wargaming as a whole,
than the trust of your customers? It's a total mess;
and I agree that Wargaming are at an all-time moral low both
with the game itself and here in the forums. In Paul
Charlton's (a.k.a. MightyJingles) most recent Mingles with
Jingles episode, he brands Wargaming
behaving anti-consumer like
Electronic Arts have been in recent times. I suggest
everyone starts tightening their money belts and consider finding
something else to invest their hard-earned money in, because I am
certain that Wargaming is not going to back down, and will
sharply raise the risks of arguing with its customer base.
(I will assert any tampering of this message by moderators
as wilful censorship, as the above is a true reflection of
my thoughts and stance towards Wargaming and its
employees.)
Jaguarz: The only thing Victor Kislyi cares about WOT and WOWS now is
that they make money, he literally couldnt give less of a crap
about its day to day running The issue inside Wargaming is
greed and jealousy and it isnt complex. The old guard made bags of
cash while working at Wargaming because they were a part of its
exponential growth, the issue is the new guys who have come in
think they are better than anyone else and are upset that they are
not able to walk off with millions in bonuses and share options.
This is why all we are seeing is short term cash grab plans
designed to look good on a yearly report so they can make bank and
run. Wargaming has a huge corporate culture issue though, as
in they dont have one, its just a complete fustercluck and what you
get out of things is more closely linked to who you know as opposed
to what you do. While I have had some good dealings with some of
WGNAs staff no one could ever accuse the office of being
professional yet its probably the most professional of Wargamings
offices and satellites.
