Jaguarz: Well duh, dropping a few million creds on crew books to have a
viable 4 perk crew isnt going to get the current development team
phat bonuses and thats literally all they have their eyes on
because the current lot running the game are just wage slaves, they
arent the guys who started it, they arent the ones who became
multimillionaires so everything they are tryig to push is about
personal enrichment. Fortunately though as they are just wage
slaves they have to get this mess past the actual stakeholders who
are protected by a ring of bean counters who will have to be
presented with an increibly convincing cost benefit analysis for
them to throw a late middle ages games core into upheaval when
EVERY other time that has happened has led to disaster. The window
of opportunity to alter a games core is at the beginning of its
life, WOT is in retention mode, its expansion phase is long gone
and you dont retain players by doing this mess and the dev teams
imaginary economics of a million players forking out $1900 for a
pimp tank commander just wont fly. Its overcomplex for a game
in retention mode. Its literal days of work for players to convert
all their crews and plan their "builds".Its a shameless cash grab
and its brutal, a new $30-50 tank can get by because its not that
much and it plays to sunken cost fallacy but crew 2.0 will make
most whales balk. The positives just arent there, for anyone
bar the kid of an oligarch, they think no random radio operator
sticking out in a crew setup or "free" sixth sense can camouflage
this garbage? Personally I dont care if these changes go
(through though I seriously doubt they will), theres plenty of
other things I can do and I wont support this odious direction.
