Jaguarz:  a 308 vs a aluminium can which has a wall thickness of 0.01 inch (or 0.254 mm) would have an overmatch of a huge amount and wouldn't produce a riccocet or bounce in world of tanks either. Even the worlds smallest bullet (2.7mm) would pen an aluminium can according to overmatch rules of WOT having an overmatch of 10x+
