shooting an aluminum can until you get a bounce............or even
a ricochet! Seriously........the game does not work as
described. Bouncing a 300+ pen round off a flat spot in the
side of an SPG should never happen, yet I did it........as have
many others. A glancing shot off a soft target still rips a
hole in the target. Jgpze100 gold round off an
elc......."bounced". That was just a few days
ago. This game is full of people trying to
justify/explain what occurs yet you can't just keep making things
up in defense of WG. The game does not work as
described..........want to talk about camo and spotting?
RNG will skew for one side or another (read their
patent), but it goes in your favor as well at times. When you
notice you can snap shot tanks from 300m away and do major damage,
take advantage of that match! The enemy team will be the one
who bounces a majority of shots, received ammo racks and fires more
often and has the disadvantage. You can still win though in
spite, but it's just more difficult in some matches than
others........thanks to this "random" feature that isn't explained
honestly in the game mechanics descriptions. +/20% variance
is not what we're seeing. Still a fun game at
times.
Jaguarz: a 308 vs a aluminium can which has a wall thickness of 0.01
inch (or 0.254 mm) would have an overmatch of a huge amount and
wouldn't produce a riccocet or bounce in world of tanks either.
Even the worlds smallest bullet (2.7mm) would pen an aluminium can
according to overmatch rules of WOT having an overmatch of 10x+
