visually (i.e. on a map) the distribution of the gold? Hypnotik: I don't have exactly what you're looking for on hand, but http://i.imgur.com/WslMT5W.jpg
and http://i.imgur.com/8XaHE5i.jpg should set you in the right
direction.
SpunkyGoon, on May 28 2014 - 10:56, said: step in the right direction, but I don't think they made a drastic
enough change to AC to make it a real "training ground" area.
Africa, had most of its land at 240 or below, with landings
being even 24 gold. You can still get a pretty good payout
holding the the right provinces in the north. Edit: Besides
the gold pots in Mexico, which looks like they are pretty spread
out, it appears at first glance that the rest of the provinces are
about the same as AC. So this "more defined" training ground
doesn't seem more defined at all really.Hypnotik: You're right, it is a step in the direction. Just like the prime
time layout, it isn't necessarily the way it will be a year from
now (or even sooner). Depending on the success of the time zones,
and the statistics and our observations of how the map plays in
this updated configuration, we'll see what further changes are
needed.

everyone, not least of all the extra exposure clans will get, which
might have a decent kickback for competitiveness a few months/years
down the road. These changes come as a direct result of suggestions
made during the FIRST Clan Wars summit, as well as being further
addressed at teh SECOND, and its really great to see the results.
GG WG WP. :E: Brief moan about the overwhelming
goldstack in the East, since it has narrower access to battles
compared to the middle, but no reference from me would be
incomplete without this obligatory moan.Hypnotik: And briefly presented at the 3rd. As for the last part, wouldn't be
a loz post without it. See the above response.
Joe_B, on May 28 2014 - 10:47, said: Has there been any discussion internally about trying to shorten
the time involved with a typical Clan Wars night?Hypnotik: There has. Right now it is the way it is for regular battles due to
technical reasons. I could see it being pretty useful for LZ's, so
I'll bring up that suggestion again at my next meeting with HQ.
Allurai, on May 28 2014 - 10:50, said: good work Hyp - will this come with a release "event" ?
Mexico has a 4k gold pot, calling dibs on being the first to sack
it.Hypnotik: Yes, it will, but not anything too major. You even designed one of
the missions (remember that CoAF discussion?)
owlgator, on May 28 2014 - 13:49, said: This still baffles me. Why are NONE of the Eastern prime time
hours of 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm - which account for 90% of the new
provinces - not even offered on the West Coast? Heck, I'm
Central time but my schedule doesn't allow me to logon until
10-10:30pm, or no earlier than midnight eastern time. For
those on Pacific Time, that's 8-8:30pm, which is the prime time of
the East Coast. However the current model doesn't give anyone
out west the same opportunity, as they have 5pm, 6pm, or 7pm
options.Hypnotik: The reason the eastern prime times were added is because those are
when more poeple play. Adding another late time zone would, based
on our observations, not be nearly as successful and helpful to the
playerbase on a large scale, even if it helps a few people.

meant to use the word [edited]Hypnotik: You have plenty of time to move around. Try out some new maps on
some new provinces, it'll help you in the long run.
