by 1/3 by the time the campaign ended. This was easily
apparent by looking at all the vacant spaces on the map where there
were no missions or VPs to be found, but I'm glad to see some
numbers behind it. I don't necessarily hate the idea of a
sandbox for opting out of the campaign, but there just aren't
enough clans on the server to allow two full maps to be up at once.
Stage 3 for Rel_3 was more about finding something to do
rather than actual Clan Wars.Hypnotik: Yes the number dropped off, but that was to be expected as the
tiers went up too. We saw the same effect in the previous Campaign.
This time through, the drop-off was actually a bit better
(shallower decrease in the slope). We did take notice at the
effects of having so many territories available, and will be taking
it into consideration in future decisions. We did notice
a pretty good number of new players and clans to Clan Wars, so the
additional land has at least had success in allowing new players to
see what it's about, which was one of the goals of this Campaign.
