New way for wargaming to manipulate battle outcome

Дата: 10.05.2021 21:12:59
Hey_man_Gneis_shot: Heyo Platoon! While the OP's message may not be accurate, I think the scenario of a lopsided battle can and does happen more often than we'd like.
Reasons for this can be anything from an aggressive push by the enemy team that breaks through and leads to a flanking movement allowing a crossfire towards allied tanks. This quickly forces your team to take up defensive positions but usally after a loss of several teammates and allows a numbers advantage which becomes academic. Another reason for a lopsided result is over-extending into territory already in the enemy's "kill zone". Once a few teammates go down, the other team typically launches a counter-attack and that quickly unfolds into a rout of allied vehicles. Sometimes this can't be avoided as aggressive offensives takes skill and experience to counter. But being aware of your position and the team's position on the map in relation to the other team helps mitigate early mistakes that can lead to a quick trip back to the garage. "Retreat, hell! We're not retreating, we're just advancing in a different direction." - Oliver P. Smith, United States Marine Corps #keepcalmandtankon
