Planes, Tanks, and Sleighs: Day 1

HBFT: I'm so happy to see all of the enthusiasm for the first day of this event!   As a sidenote, there is an unlimited number of spots for people to post entries in this thread before the deadline, so there is no need to "reserve" a spot.  We will go through every post here after it is locked for judging. No worries!
