However its important not to be tied to them. Its
important to be tactically flexible. In a great post i
read the author describes the battle not as a 15 vs 15
but as series of smaller skirmishes. To win you need to
be part of them. So you need to get your gun into the game.
Do not keep waiting for the enemy to show up in your sights.
Look at the map - see the enemy ? Try to flank them!
This brings me to my second point. A lot of tankers see the
enemy on the map and take the shortest rout heading to them. The
smarter tankers approach from the side (flanking) The
armor is thinner on the sides. turretless TDs are at sever
disadvantage because they will need to move and break camo to
shoot. great post to read http://forum.worldof...y-tank-matters/HBFT: If I were more tactically flexible, then I would probably
find myself in better flanking positions more often. :) As
for your linked post, absolutely awesome post. The theory
behind it kind of reminds me of "Slicing the Pie", where you expose
yourself and engage only one target at a time.
