[ST] 40TP Habicha

Gnomon: Hey, everyone!  Happy Friday! I’ve got a bit more news on the Polish line for you.  Tier by tier, we’ve been moving down the Polish branch. Next up is the 40TP Habicha (the Tier VI medium tank), which is ready for a round of testing.   The 40TP Habicha is a mobile medium tank with a 90mm gun. The gun stands out due to its alpha damage (240 points) and decent rate of fire. However, the targeting parameters are far from ideal: the dispersion of 0.42 prevents efficient sniping, and the targeting time is currently at 2.7 seconds. The tank is relatively fast, so it can quickly accelerate to its maximum speed of 50 kp/h (and sustain it) thanks to a power-to-weight ratio of 17.4 hp per ton. The armor of the 40TP Habicha doesn’t offer a lot of protection from incoming enemy fire (keep in mind, though, that we’re talking about a Tier VI medium). You can compensate for the armor by making use of the its gun depression of -8°, which you can use to hide its frail (and bulky) hull on the back slope of a hill. To sum things up: the 40TP is a mobile medium with above average alpha and below average targeting stats. The armor is far from the best, so you should stick to terrain-based play when you take this fella out into battle.  Screenshots      Also, this is the pre-Supertest state of the vehicle.
