Definitely a great way to pass the hours - lots of fun and
plenty to study. I've already played 300 battles and honestly
I'm not doing very well (K/D = .25; Survival = 20%) and I think
there are three main reasons for that: 1. I'm new
and still trying to figure things out. 2. I'm old,
maybe one of the oldest players out there which means my
physicality isn't what it used to be. The synapses don't fire
like they used to so my hand-eye coordination and response time
is much diminished from what it was 30-40 years ago. I also
have some arthritis in my fingers which slows down the keyboard
controls. 3. I'm a regular victim of "seal clubbing".
I frequently check player statistics after a battle to get a
sense of the competition and I have been amazed at the number of
players in Tier I and Tier II who have 10000 battles or more (I was
in a battle last night where one of the players actually had over
35000 battles) so no wonder I'm getting routinely curb
stomped. GhostPrime: Welcome to World of Tanks! As a lot of others have stated in
this thread you are not alone here! There is a wealth of
information from some very experienced players. Take up some of
these offers to platoon, and you will learn a lot!
