of a PC, I would definitely opt for the PC. Even for the price of a
PS4, you can buy a pretty mean machine. And with PC, you can run
emulators, and take advantage of Steam Sales and search for
numerous other games you'd likely enjoy. If you think you're
more likely to be more comfortable buying games you'd enjoy more
thoroughly for a console... then you might want to opt for the PS4.
If you plan for this setup to be in front of a couch or in a living
space of some sort- Console might be a better option. But if you're
thinking of expanding your scope of video gaming, PC is definitely
the way to go.GhostPrime: So for me, I have both. (I also have a Xbone) I play PC
games as well as Console games, but the two are completely
different beasts. PC gaming is on the rise, and PCs are easy
to upgrade. (You should build your own) many games are on both PC
and console, PC has the capability for much better graphics.
Mouse and keyboards are better used for FPS games and RTS games. A
controller is able to be used on the PC as well. (You can use a PS4
controller or Xbox) Not to mention all the things you can do with a
PC other than game. (Too much to list) PS4 is a great
system, there are many great games for it, and many more to come.
It's easy to go to the gamestore pick up a used game pop it in and
play. It can be an video entertainment system as well. It has a
media player where you are able to stream video from your PC, PS4s
have netflix, youtube, and hulu as well, just like a PC. It also
has the PS Vue app where you are able to select different premium
channels to pay for and watch. (in lieu of needing cable) If
you go for a PC though I strongly suggest a PC monitor. you will
get much more clarity, and crispness.
