Downloading wot on a flash drive

All you do is copy the entire wot folder to the flash drive then when you plug it into the laptop and open the folder you make a shortcut of the wotlauncher.exe to the desktop and then open and play the game as usual as it will automatically make the necessary additional folders in your appdata directory for settings etc.   Now the downside. It's probably a usb 2.0 port on the laptop and the flash drive itself if not labeled as high speed will have a pretty poor transfer rate which will be slower than a hdd and actually reduce fps due to the way the game engine loads shaders and audio on the fly.   A high speed usb2.0 stick will fare better and if your laptop has a usb 3.0 port then you can get a usb 3.0 stick that is nearly as fast as a normal ssd.

GhostPrime:     This. The folder will copy just fine to a USB and you could move it from PC to PC. I do suggest playing the game from a PC though, even with USB 3.0. You can copy the preferences file and place it in %appdata% and the game should read it if you place the "Wargaming.net" folder in the correct location. Other wise the program will create a new folder with default settings.    Afcap: could you please elaborate? Does the folder copy over ok? Does he have enough space on the Computer?
