9.8 completely ruined my game

Strog_, on May 30 2015 - 22:18, said: I get the same thing but only at certain times, (not during high
traffic times though oddly enough). Ping goes from ~40ms to
~600ms every few seconds. I used ping plotter and it showed
major connection issues with only one of their telia servers.
Opened a ticket with WG showing them this, and of course they
ignored this and told me to uninstall my mods even though I'm
not using any, and also to clear my dns cache which didnt help in
the slightest. There is no fix that I have found, and WG
doesn't care in the slightest. My advice: play a different
game. RIP WOT.GhostPrime: We do care. We want everyone to be able to play the game.
Mods can cause lots of issues, and as such need to be removed for
the sake of troubleshooting. We do ask for pingplotter files, or
tracert and compile information from players we see having
difficulties on any of our servers. We do this so we can get any
issues fixed. That said, some other factors go into
what you see when you run pingplotter. Sometimes a server will
ignore ICMP packets. This will look like packet loss, but if the
packet loss doesn't trickle down, and affect the connection below,
it's generally ok. There are cases where this will hide the actual
packet loss if there is any. Pingplotter actually has
a lot of good documentation on there site about how to read
pingplotters, and how a basic network works. I do suggest looking
it up if you are interested in learning. Of course
packet loss does occur, and server issues do arise from time to
time. Please do send in tickets to support with a tracert, or
pingplotter file (or both), and make sure all your drivers are up
to date, and you are not running mods. This will make it easier
for Customer support to troubleshoot and find out where the
issue lies. If it is on our servers, it will get reported.
