discussed tier X discounts. Suffice to say I was very happy to take
part in and work with the other regions to come up with a way to
run these events.

GeneralDirection: We are doing this because we're happy with the state of the game
now and are comfortable discounting higher tier vehicles. The game
has been out for two years (going on three for RU), so we want to
get more players to top tier. We're making a lot of changes to the
game and want to make sure players are able to experience that at
all tiers.

GeneralDirection: No, it is correct. You receive 50% of the price of the vehicle, so
if you sell it while it's on discount, you'll get half of what you
paid. If you wait until the vehicle is off sale you'll get a little
more back, but you still won't break even since it's a 30%
discount.

GeneralDirection: The tech tree focus events should help with this. It's a great time
to take advantage of cheaper tanks to prep for this type of event.
It just so happens this lines up perfectly with the Russian TTF
this week, so if you're close to the IS then it's a very good time
to buy it.
