The development team discovered a stability issue with the Clan Wars service recently, and we had to disable the feature on every server globally to address it. This issue is very crippling to the service and can cause a detrimental experience, resulting in battles not counting on the global map.
We're currently expecting Clan Wars to return on March 13, 2013. This downtime is to deploy stability improvements.
Clan Wars is more popular than ever, and we appreciate everyone's interest. We apologize for the downtime, and realize that this is yet another of many issues with Clan Wars that have come up over the past two months.
Please know that we are working hard to fix this, and have scheduled a global meeting between all offices in early April to determine what must be done to ensure that Clan Wars remains a healthy part of World of Tanks moving forward.
This meeting will include producers, community managers, content managers and senior management from all offices. It will not only result in better direction for Clan Wars, but also better support for our players; including new policies to address downtime like this, and other issues which we've recently seen.
We've asked for your forgiveness and understanding a lot lately, and the downtime issues you've had to deal with are unacceptable. We hope that this meeting and the new vision for Clan Wars, and supporting policies that come out of it, will help to mend some of these wounds that we have inflicted on you.
