The biggest problem with this change is that free xp is something that you can easily earn just by running tanks, but gold is something that not everyone has - free gold is great but I create twice as much free xp as that per day just with the 5% of the xp earned. This seems like a step backward to me.
GeneralDirection: No, it's not a typo. The free experience is an additional
reward--it's not experience you've already earned like when
converting with gold. If the reward is too low we'll look at it for
future Sheriff events, but it's not going to be a flat 1 to 1 ratio
in comparison with spending gold to convert.
